Meet Mark

Mark Finkelpearl knows DC inside and out; he’s lived here since the mid-1990s, raising three kids who all attended DCPS and renovating two homes. With a long career as a nonfiction television producer and executive, Mark worked for National Geographic TV and Discovery Communications, where he honed the creativity and customer service skills that make him a success in real estate. Like television, real estate is a collaborative endeavor, and Mark’s project management skills ensure his clients achieve their real estate dreams. Using his visual creativity, Mark helps his clients see the unlocked potential of every home. He works from a place of compassion and understanding, simplifying what can be a difficult and emotional process. Employing his talents as a producer, Mark keeps each real estate transaction on schedule and on budget.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Mark bleeds black and gold. He plays guitar in a garage band that jams out at neighborhood block parties. He also writes about music for guitar magazines and supports Operation Understanding DC, a social justice training program that brings the civil rights movement to life for high school juniors. Mark's greatest achievement was raising three kids into successful adults - and be sure to ask him about his years following the Grateful Dead.
